The patterns naturally drawn on those altitud surfaces, mineral for most, take an organical look. The cracks transform into chapping, crests into body lines, small cracks into wrinkles, flabby sand into flesh, excavated rock into membrane, slopes into curves...

 

The materials, sculpted by the elements, appear like the witness of the ecosystems of which they belong, of the interactions happening between different elements of a same environment. Those snapshots invite to (re)think and broaden our relationship to the livings in a place or on surfaces that at first look so immutable. The snapshots invite to look beyond the frame and to consider the invisible forces that tirelessly shape the ecosystems around us.
